Laura Andersen
Arts Action Fund Data Coordinator
Laura joined the Americans for the Arts in May of 2011 as the Arts Action Fund Coordinator. Her responsibilities include developing, executing, and tracking the results of membership acquisition and renewal campaigns of the Arts Action Fund and helping to execute the fundraising, communications, marketing, and advocacy objections of the Americans for the Arts Action Fund. Most recently before joining the Americans for the Arts, she worked as the tourism & visitor relations coordinator at Hillwood Estate, Museum & Gardens where she managed the Visitor Information Office and served a member of the Visitor Services team.
Laura grew up in New Jersey and moved to North Carolina as a teen where in 2003 she graduated from the University of North Carolina. It’s no surprise that she was drawn to the Americans for the Arts because she was raised in a family that was very supportive of the arts. Her mother was an interior designer, her sister currently lives in and works in NYC in the theaters, and Laura danced with the New Jersey ballet as a child. Besides being a supporter of the arts, she is also an avid Tarheels fan.
