Alan Brown

Alan Brown Alan Brown is a noted author, researcher, and management consultant in the nonprofit arts industry. Prior to forming his own consulting practice, Brown served as president of Audience Insight LLC and associate principal of AMS Planning & Research Corporation, where he studied audiences, visitors, and patterns of cultural participation in almost every major market in the United States. His work focuses on understanding consumer behaviors related to arts participation and raising the profile of consumer research in the arts industry as a whole.
