Whitney Ransome
Whitney Ransome is co-executive director of the National Coalition of Girls’ Schools (NCGS) and has been with the organization since its founding in 1991. NCGS has a membership of 104 national girls public and private schools (elementary and secondary) with 45,000 girls currently enrolled. Whitney has been involved with schools throughout her professional career, having had work experience in public and private schools as well as junior colleges. She is an expert in marketing, media relations, and fundraising. During her years with NCGS, she has developed partnerships with other nonprofits (Girl Scouts of the USA; Girls, Incorporated; the Women’s College Coalition; Ms. Foundation; White House Project; Sally Ride Science Clubs; Girls-Explore; etc). She has also forged beneficial relationships with IBM, MassMutual-Oppenheimer Fund, Sodexho, TIAA-CREF, Bank of America, Google, and many others.
