services for your community

Americans for the Arts programs and services are designed to support the professional development, research, advocacy, and visibility needs in your community as well as individual career growth.

Speakers Bureau
The Speakers Bureau includes Americans for the Arts staff that are experts in their field. Talks are crafted with the interests of local arts and cultural leaders in mind. A speaker’s presentation can also help bring together business, education, and elected leaders to attract attention and energize participation around a key issue. Talks can also leverage national research and relationships toward local results and highlight local and/or regional activity in a national context.

Customized Content for Workshops & Conferences
These workshops and/or conferences address a specific topic based on local and/or regional interests. Americans for the Arts consults on the agenda, provides speakers, presentations, and interactive sessions. We can help with single workshops, sessions that fit inside existing conferences, or multiple-day programs.

Research
Conduct an economic impact study, purchase a Creative Industries report, or simply tap into our services for web surveys, public opinion polling, or focus groups. We offer our research expertise and technical assistance on a myriad of topics related to arts policy and practice.

Program Development
Whether you are interested in launching a local arts agency, developing a new service, or evaluating an existing program, Americans for the Arts staff is here to provide in-depth guidance and relevant research. Let us help you start an Arts Council, United Arts Fund, or an Animating Democracy Local Synergy Initiative. Learn more about becoming an Arts & Business Council chapter or developing a Business Volunteers for the Arts program. Use our expertise to create a local network for Emerging Leaders, Public Art, or Arts Education. Or make a Creativity Connection inside your business or organization.

These programs are offered for a fee, which can include a member discount. For more information, contact the Associate Vice President of Field Services.
